It’s almost clear for anyone that the Bayer Leverkusen Turkish defender will join Thomas Tuchel's side at summer.
According to Goal, Two weeks ago, Omer Toprak told Kicker about his Possible farewell at the end of this season:
I want to have a good, and successful ending here.
On Saturday, Rudi Völler confirmed that the 27-year-old centre-back will join the Ruher side. He told to Sky:
Borussia Dortmund will trigger Ömer Toprak’s release clause with all likeliness.
Last summer Toprak was very close to joining the Black and Yellows but the deal didn’t go through because BVB were not willing to pay €25 million that Bayer demanded. In 2017 Toprak can join Dortmund for €12 million.
The 27-year-old has been with Leverkusen since 2011, when he moved from Freiburg.
