Fussball90.com:

Mr Stefan Buczko is a journalist that all his focus on his city’s club Brussia Dortmund. You can easily find his fantastic works at ESPNFC, Fottball collective and One football.
Stefan also one of BUZZ 09 app writer and editor-in-chief and host of The Yellow Wall Pod. Fussball90 proudly had a brief conversation with him about BVB, German national team and etc.

Fussball90. After such a terrible season with Jurgen Klopp in his final season, Thomas Tuchel took the charge at Borussia Dortmund and he had such a fantastic season with BVB although it was without any trophy. So could you even imagine Dortmund rise from the ashes ASAP like this?!

You always had to keep in mind, that Klopp’s last year was a big negative exception. There was always too much quality in the team for the slump to go on forever. However, I was blown away by how quickly Tuchel managed to implement his philosophy and how consistent Dortmund picked up points at the start of the season.

Fussball90. Did Borussia Dortmund’s performance at Europa League satisfy you at all?

Yes and no. I wasn’t happy with the lack of tension in the group stages, but the focus on the Bundesliga could excuse that. After dominating Porto and Tottenham in impressive fashion it was extremely disappointing to go out against Liverpool. It was a historic chance to win the Europa League and Dortmund gave it away needlessly.

Fussball90. Bundesliga 2016-17 season  schedule was drawn and BVB will face 05ers in the first match at Signal Iduna Park. what's your opinion about the first match and all the other fixtures arrangements?

Playing against Mainz is never easy and going up against a promoted team at the start of the season is also unthankful. Overall, I think BVB can be happy with the season schedule. They have an “easy” start, but that also means they have to pick up points from the beginning.

Fussball90. Hans-Joachim Watzke said Mats Hummels, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ilkay Gundogan won't leave the club in a same season. Now apparently he can't keep his promise and Miki we'll leave the club in the coming days too. What do you think about this kind of management and are these replacements that joined the club good enough?!

It’s a shame that Dortmund couldn’t hold on to any of these players. There are bigger clubs with greater financial power. From a business point of view, it would have been a mistake to keep Mkhitaryan, considering the amount of money Manchester United paid.

Watzke has said that he falsely assesst the situation, but given how well the club has done under his reign, BVB fans shouldn’t complain too much.

Fussball90. Can we still hope to hear big transfer news in the coming days or weeks?

Yes. Be it André Schürrle, Mario Götze, Mateo Kovacic or Ömer Toprak. Dortmund will at least bring in two more players. Sadly, Neven Subotic is going to leave.
Fussball90. Kuba is enjoying his fantastic tournament with Poland and helped his national team so much. So would Thomas Tuchel give him at least one chance to prove himself in the future?

Dortmund will surely give him a chance. But it’s clear that BVB cannot guarantee Jakub Blaszczykowski a role as a starting player. If Kuba wants regular playing time, he will most likely leave the club like Neven Subotic.

Fussball90. Which teams had better activities and signings in the transfer market until now? Who is Dortmund’s best signing in current market so far?

It’s too soon to say, as the transfer window will be open until the end of August. So far Leverkusen have done well. They haven’t lost a key-player and can develop their team. Of course, Bayern Munich also gain a lot of quality with Mats Hummels.

It’s really hard to say, who Dortmund’s best signing is so far. Ousmane Dembélé will probably be the most exciting one, but Marc Bartra might be more important in defence. I, like everyone else, will have to wait and see how Tuchel will implement them.

Fussball90. Carlo Ancelotti will sit at Bayern Munchen’s bench as a head coach. Championship for the five times in row or a thrilling Bundesliga, what would happen?

I don’t think Dortmund will be competitive enough to go toe to toe with Bayern this season. Bayern are always favourite for the Bundesliga, but my hope is that it will be closer than last year.

Fussball90. According to your Twitter activities. I'm sure you've followed all the Euro 2016 matches so far. Does Mannschaft’s performance satisfy you or not? How about Joachim Löw final player list for year 2016? Does anyone miss?

I think Jaoachim Löw did alright in this Euros. He had tough injury luck towards the end of Germany’s campaign, but he has proven that he has improved a lot since 2012. BVB fans will always argue that Marcel Schmelzer could have helped with his experience.

Fussball90. After such a great season under Thomas Tuchel in his first season at Borussia Dortmund, What should the fans expect from BVB for the new season? Trophy after 5 years?!

I don’t think the Bundesliga or the Champions League are realistic for Dortmund. They can always win the DFB Pokal with a bit of luck.
